The Lake Forest College women's hockey team was defeated 6-0 by visiting St. Norbert College on Saturday in game two of the teams' Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series.
Beginning with a power play goal, the Green Knights' first four scores in the game came during a span of less than five minutes of game time at the end of the opening period and start of the second.
St. Norbert outshot the home team 17-7 in the first period and the Foresters had a 12-7 edge in that category in the second.
Both teams put seven shots on goal in the third period, which included two more tallies that finished off a weekend sweep for the visitors.
Lake Forest fell to 0-4-0 while St. Norbert improved to 3-1-0 on the season.
The Foresters will play a home-and-home series with Concordia University Wisconsin next weekend. The teams will face off in Mequon, Wisconsin, Friday night at 7:00 and in Lake Forest's Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
