The Lake Forest College men's soccer team made its fifth NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 11 years on Saturday but fell 3-0 at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
The game was scoreless until the Pioneers finally broke through with just four-and-a-half minutes to play before halftime.
Despite being out-shot 20-7 in the game, the Foresters kept the score at 1-0 until the home team tacked on two more tallies in the final seven minutes.

Johnny Presberg made their final appearance in a collegiate game on Saturday. They helped the team earn back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths for the first time since the 1960s.
The season-ending loss leaves Lake Forest at 7-9-4 for the season while Platteville advances to Sunday's second round at 14-2-5.
