The Forester football team defeated visiting Lawrence University 76-0 on Saturday during the College's Homecoming Weekend.
Lake Forest scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters to match the fifth-highest scoring half in school history. They added 14 points in the third and 20 in the fourth for the third-highest single-game total in team annals.
The Forester defense allowed the Vikings to cross midfield just three times in the game and limited them to 175 total yards. The visitors best chance to score was during a long third quarter drive that finally stalled at the Lake Forest 1-yardline.

Trevor Land taking a short slant pass from junior quarterback
Joshua Gasca and sprinting the length of the field for the longest offensive play in program history. Land finished the game with 158 yards on three receptions and added a 19-yard rushing touchdown. He leads the team in scoring with eight total touchdowns on the season.
The Forester offense surpassed 300 yards rushing and receiving and set team records with 722 total yards and 10.3 yards per play.
Starting quarterback
Tre Stewart completed 14 of 22 passes for 221 yards. The graduate student threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to junior tight end
Jake Kostoryz and a 45-yarder to freshman wideout
Dax Lindholm, who reached the end zone for the first time in his career. Stewart also scored himself on a 1-yard run.
Junior running back
Mal Chunn was the Foresters' leading rusher with 89 yards and he scored the game's first points on a 37-yard run. Fellow junior
Josiah Kidd was next with 80 yards on just five attempts. Additional rushing touchdowns came from freshman
Taylen Goodwin and junior
Wilson Buckley on 8-yard runs and freshman quarterbackÂ
Michael Kasemervisz on an 11-yarder.
The only other offensive score came on a 1-yard pass from freshman quarterback
Zach Wren to junior wide receiver
Caden Pedersen. It was the first career touchdown for both players.
While several Foresters reached the end zone for the first time, linebacker
Javan Ah Quin turned in his second interception return touchdown of the season when the grad student stepped in front of a pass late in the second quarter and scored from 39 yards out.

Alex Bendler and senior defensive back
Jimmy Lonigro led Lake Forest with six tackles apiece with two of Bendler's stops occurring behind the line of scrimmage, including a sack.

Trenton Brail and sophomore safety
Thomas DeChesaro joined Ah Quin in the interception column as Lake Forest edged out Lawrence 3-2 in the turnover battle.
The Foresters' highlight on special teams was sophomore kicker
Beckham Sonnabend reaching double figures on extra points. He made 10 of 11 attempts to match the second-highest single-game total in school history.
Lake Forest is now 5-0 and Lawrence 0-5 this season. Both teams have played four Midwest Conference games.
The Foresters will be at home again next Saturday when they kick off against Grinnell College 1:00 p.m.
