The Foresters won despite being out-rebounded 41-40 and committing 23 turnovers to the Pioneers' 18.

Radtke's only three-pointer of the game started the scoring and the Foresters jumped out to an 18-6 lead. Carroll outscored the visitors 17-8 to close out the first half, which ended with Lake Forest leading 26-23.

A 12-0 Pioneer run in the middle of the second half turned a seven-point Forester lead into a five-point advantage for Carroll. The margin grew to 10 points (53-43) before Lake Forest scored 13 straight points to take a 56-53 lead with 46 seconds on the clock. Carroll made three free throws with 16 seconds left to force overtime.

A three-pointer by Ambrose gave the Foresters the lead for good with 2:11 to play in the extra five-minute period and her traditional three-point play with 1:04 left made it 67-62. Canulli helped close things out with four free throws in the final 48 seconds.

After winning at Lawrence University and Carroll over the weekend, Lake Forest is now 10-9 overall and 9-6 in Midwest Conference play. Carroll fell to 9-10 overall and 8-6 in the league.

The Foresters will play a non-conference game at Milwaukee School of Engineering Thursday night at 7:00 before resuming league play at Monmouth College Saturday afternoon at 3:00.
