The Lake Forest College men's hockey team fell 5-1 at home to
Adrian College, the nation's 12th-ranked team, Friday night
(February 5). The Foresters are now 7-11-1 overall on the season
and 7-7-1 in Midwest Collegiate Hockey association play. The
Bulldogs rained their overall record to 17-3-0 and MCHA mark to

Thanks to a pair of power play goals, Adrian led 2-0 after the
opening period. The visitors added a score in the second and two
more before the Foresters struck in the third.
Lake Forest's only goal of the game came off the stick of senior
Adam Love (Durham, Ontario/Elmira Sugar Kings) with 4:38 remaining
in the contest. Freshman Jake DellaValle (Venetia, Pa./Stouffville
Spirit) and Mike Rubino (Woodbridge, Ontario/St. Michael's Buzzers)
assisted on Love's eighth goal of the season.
Forester freshman goaltender Brendan Sullivan (Fall River,
Mass./Aurora Tigers) came on in relief and stopped 32 of 35 shots
on goal in the game.
The teams will face off for the fourth time this season tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30. A live radio broadcast of the game will be
