The Red Hawks intercepted a pass at the Forester 15-yard line late in the first quarter and reached the end zone two plays later to take a 14-7 lead. A 6-play, 47-yard touchdown drive late in the second period gave the visitors a 21-7 lead at halftime.

Ripon extended its lead with a touchdown in the third quarter and another late in the fourth.

Lake Forest was out-gained 356-173 overall and 291-35 on the ground in the contest. The Red Hawks recorded 18 first downs, seven more than the home team.
