Julieana Tarantino joined the coaching staff at her alma mater in 2025.
The Foresters finished fourth in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association standings with a league mark of 9-9-0 in 2025-26. They also advanced to the semifinals of the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs.
Lake Forest was also successful in the classroom in 2025-26 with a program record 21 of 26 players earning NCHA All-Academic Team honors. In addition, three Foresters received Academic All-District® accolades from College Sports Communicators.
Tarantino was a Forester goaltender for four seasons and posted an 8-6-2 record with a pair of shutouts, a 2.19 goals against average, and a .918 save percentage during her career. She graduated in 2021 with bachelor's degrees in data science and economics.
While a senior in college Tarantino also served as an assistant coach with the Wilmette Hockey Association. Her next coaching opportunity came in 2024-25 at Roosevelt University, where she served as an assistant coach, aiding in nationwide recruiting efforts and planning and leading on-ice practices and off-ice training sessions.
