The 2026 season is Joseph Lovric's first as an assistant women's soccer coach and the staff's recruiting coordinator. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Forester men's team in 2022 and 2023.
With Lovric on staff, the Lake Forest College men's soccer team captured a regular season Midwest Conference championship in 2022 and claimed back-to-back MWC Tournament titles in 2022 and 2023. The Foresters were 8-2-6 during league play during those seasons and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament both years. They also accounted for six First Team and four Second Team All-MWC selections, as well as MWC Defensive (2022) and Offensive (2023) Player of the Year accolades.
Lovric spent the previous three years as the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach for the boys teams at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois. He was a member of the Independent School League Conference Coaching Staff of the Year twice and helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish in the state tournament in 2019. His coaching experience at the prep level also includes a season as an assistant at Mather High School in Chicago, his alma mater.
A 2020 graduate of North Park University, Lovric was a three-year member of the Viking men's soccer team, which captured back-to-back College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin titles and advanced to the championship game of the 2017 NCAA Division III Tournament.
