The 2025 season was the first at Lake Forest College and third at the collegiate level for Jackson Joyce, who works directly with the Foresters' offensive linemen.
Lake Forest was 7-3 overall and tied for second place in the Midwest Conference with a 7-2 league record in Joyce's first year on staff. The Foresters finished the season ranked 18th in the nation with a program record 42.3 points per game, 34th with 435.9 yards per contest, and tied-for-46th with just 1.10 sacks allowed per game. Under the direction of Joyce, two of the team's offensive linemen were named First Team All-MWC while another earned second teaam honors.
Joyce came to Lake Forest from Concordia University Chicago, where he coached the Cougars' offensive linemen and tight ends in 2024 and, as a graduate assistant, worked with the offensive line the previous season.
As a player Joyce was a three-time Academic All-CCIW honoree and earned Academic All-District accolades from College Sports Communicators as a senior at Illinois Wesleyan University. His first coaching experience came prior to his senior season when he worked with the offensive linemen and inside linebackers at John Adams High School, his alma mater.
Joyce graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in 2023 with a degree in history.
