Assistant Athletic Trainer Emily Miehlke joined the Forester athletic training staff in 2024 through Illinois Bone and Joint Institute. She works primarily with women's volleyball, women's basketball, women's soccer, cross country, and track and field.
Miehlke was a student at North Central College, where she obtained her master's in athletic training in 2023 and did clinical rotations with the school's women's soccer and basketball, football, and men's volleyball teams. She also did a clinical rotation with the Kane County Cougars and a semester rotation at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill working with the rowing team. Miehlke previously attended Hollins University, where she was an athlete on the swim team and graduated in 2021 with her bachelor's degree.
Miehlke is from Palatine, Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and watching football and hockey.
