Ary Ziakas joined the Forester women's hockey coaching staff prior to the 2024-25 season.
Ziakas is a 2022 graduate off Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota, where she played in 70 games and finished her career with 1,777 saves and a .922 save percentage. Ziakas was the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year and a finalist for the Laura Hurd National Player of the Year Award in 2022.
Ziakas earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Saint Mary's in 2022 and a master's in organizational leadership a year later. She added a bachelor's degree in nursing from Loyola University Chicago in December of 2024 and continues to work in patient care at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.
