Owen Bodine joined the coaching staff at his alma mater prior to the 2023-24 season and works with the Foresters' sprinters.
Lake Forest sprinters broke 18 school records during the 2024-25 indoor and outdoor seasons and made 21 addition updates to the program's lists of the top five performers in each event. Payton Ross earned All-Midwest Conference honors with a third-place finish in the men's 60m hurdles at the MWC Indoor Championships and AJ Jones accomplished the feat at the league's outdoor meet with a runner-up performance in the women's 100m and a third-place finish in the 200m.
Bodine graduated from Lake Forest College in 2023 and participated on the track team as a senior. He competed in the 60m, 200m, long jump, and shot put during the indoor season and in the 100m, 200m, long jump, and triple jump outdoors.
In addition to coaching track and field, Bodine is the executive assistant to the Lake Forest College Vice President of Campus Life and Dean of Students.
