The 2025-26 season is the first for Vanessa Ordaz as an assistant coach at her alma mater.
Ordaz was a four-year member of the Forester swimming and diving team and graduated from the College after double-majoring in data science (statistics concentration) and mathematics in 2023. She finished among the top eight in the 200-breaststroke at each of her three appearances at the Midwest Conference Championships and was the runner-up in the event in 2020. Ordaz also earned points at the conference meet in the 100-breaststroke three times, 400-IM twice, and 400-medley relay as a freshman.
Ordaz served as an analyst for the Forester football team during her collegiate career and is now a support coordinator for Riddell, a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of football helmets and other sports equipment.
