Patrick Carow joined the Forester coaching staff prior to the 2023-24 season.
The Lake Forest men and women combined to win eight events and both squads placed third at the 2024 Midwest Conference Championship Meet. Athletes on the team also set three school records and made nine additional updates to the program's list of the top five performances in each event.
Forester teams also combined for a 5-8 dual meet record during Carow's first season with the program.
Carow is a graduate of nearby Deerfield High School, where he was an All-State swimmer and all-conference swimmer and water polo player. He also competed for a season at Calvin University.
In addition to coaching, Carow is a student at College of Lake County, where he is pursuing a degree in engineering.
