Lake Forest College

The 2025 season was the fourth for Steve Lenzi as a member of the Forester coaching staff.

The 2025 Foresters posted a 28-16-1 overall record and claimed their second straight Midwest Conference championship with a 14-2 mark during league play. Lake Forest also hosted and won the four-team MWC Tournament to advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Seven Foresters were named all-conference and three earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region IX honors.

Lake Forest is 108-58-3 overall and 57-7 in Midwest Conference play with three league titles since Lenzi joined the program. Players on the team have earned 26 all-conference honors, including 15 first team distinctions and a pair of MWC Position Player of the Year awards, during his four years at the College.

Lenzi's daughter Kyra was a pitcher for the Foresters in 2018 and 2019, earning Second Team All-MWC honors in the second of those two seasons.
