The 2025 season was the 10th for Dan Andrews as the Foresters' head coach, 11th with the program, and 17th in the profession.

Andrews led the 2025 Foresters to one of the best seasons in program history. They won their first 15 games and a team record 19 against just two losses overall. A perfect 8-0-0 Midwest Conference record gave Lake Forest its league record 20th conference title and the team won the MWC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season. The Foresters' NCAA Tournament berth was their fourth in a row, sixth with Andrews as head coach, and 12th in program history.

Andrews and his staff were named MWC Coaching Staff of the Year in 2025 and eight of his players were All-MWC selections, including MWC Offensive Player of the Year Peter Cirbo and Defensive Player of the Year Alexis Flores. Four Foresters earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region IX accolades and Cirbo was also named a Fourth Team All-American by USC and a First Team Academic All-America® selection by College Sports Communicators.

A 4-0 victory over Grinnell College in the 2025 MWC Tournament final was the 100th win for Andrews as Lake Forest's head coach. The team is 100-70-11 overall and 60-15-3 in league play while outscoring opponents 363-269 during that span. Under his direction, the Foresters also advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2015, 2017, 2022, and 2024 and claimed conference titles in 2016, 2022, and 2024. Lake Forest's scoring average of 2.76 goals per game in 2015 is the second-highest mark in team history while the 2025 team's 0.62 goals allowed per contest is a school record. The squad's goalkeepers recorded 14 shutouts in 2025 and have 53 during his tenure.

Lake Forest players have now been named all-conference 48 times, voted MWC Offensive or Defensive Player of the Year six times, and received all-region recognition 11 times with Andrews as head coach. They have also earned 144 Academic All-MWC honors during that span, including a program record 22 in 2023.

Andrews served as an assistant at the College during the 2014 season and helped lead Lake Forest to a 6-2-2 record in Midwest Conference play.

Prior to joining the staff at Lake Forest, Andrews had coached at various levels, including high school, club and college. His experience at the collegiate level included three seasons as an assistant at Moody Bible Institute, his alma mater. Moody won a pair of regional titles and claimed the 2011 NCCAA National Championship during his time on staff.

A native of Leeds, England, Andrews played for Leeds United FC Youth Academy as a young teen before moving to the United States after high school. He scored 66 goals in four years at Moody Bible Institute and was a two-time All-American and two-year team captain.
