Lake Forest College softball players Riley Stiles and Kaia Mismash were named Midwest Conference Pitcher and Position Player of the Week on Monday.

Stiles was 2-0 with a 0.66 earned run average last week. The senior tossed a five-hit shutout and struck out seven batters in Tuesday's 4-0 victory over Dominican University in the doubleheader opener. She also earned the victory in game one on Saturday against Grinnell, allowing just one run and striking out three in three-and-two-thirds innings in the circle.

With a career record of 20-10, Stiles owns the ninth-highest winning percentage in program history. She is now 8-5 with a 3.42 earned run average and 65 strikeouts this season.

Mismash was 9-for-13 at the plate last week. The junior shortstop was 2-for-3 in both victories over Dominican on Tuesday and her bases loaded triple in game two brought in half of the team's runs in the contest. Mismash had five base hits in seven trips to the plate in Saturday's sweep of Grinnell and tied a program record with a pair of triples in game two.

With at least one base hit in all 28 of her appearances in 2026 and the final eight a season ago, Mismash has matched the third-longest hitting streak in NCAA Division III history at 36 games. She currently ranks fourth in the nation with a .552 batting average and 1.46 stolen bases per game so far this spring.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Mismash has now earned the honor five times over the last three years and Stiles twice in her two seasons at the College.
