The Forester men's lacrosse team had its 2026 season come to an end Saturday with an 8-5 loss at Concordia University Wisconsin in the Northern Athletics College Conference Tournament final.
The Falcons jumped out to the early lead just 41 seconds into the contest and were ahead 4-0 late in the first quarter.
Lake Forest's first goal of the day came from junior
Carson Pagel with 1:22 remaining in the opening period.
Concordia Wisconsin added to its 4-1 lead just 50 seconds into the second quarter but did score again in the half. earned an assist on a man-up goal from senior
Brant Schuckman at the 6:34 mark and senior
Ryan Dousevicz made it a 5-3 game less than two minutes later. Pagel led the 2026 Foresters with 45 points on 28 goals and 17 assists while Dousevicz finished his career with 78 scores, the fourth-highest total in team history.
The home team led 5-3 at halftime before regaining it's four-goal lead with a pair of tallies in the first two-and-a-half minutes of the third quarter.
The Foresters responded with back-to-back scored from sophomore
Aidan Wigton later in the period to once again trim the margin to two. Wigton's team-high 33 goals this spring are the ninth-highest total in program history.
Unfortunately for Lake Forest Wigton's score with 3:32 left in the third was the visitors' last of the day. The Falcons added an insurance goal 32 seconds into the fourth and neither team found the net again.

Jacob Lipson made five saves in the first half and sophomore
Billy Draper matched his career high with nine in the second. Lipson stopped 53.8 percent of opponent shots on goal this season and his 143 saves on the year tied the third-highest single-season total in team annals.

Gabe Boston was 11-4 on faceoffs and led Lake Forest with five ground balls in the game. His .645 winning percentage this season ranks second in program history.

Judson Norris and
Liam Bradley each had a pair of caused turnovers in the contest. Norris is now fourth in team history in that category with 50 in his career.
Lake Forest finished the year with a record of 11-7 while Concordia Wisconsin advances to the NCAA Division III Tournament at 19-1.
