The Forester men's lacrosse team was defeated 14-7 by Illinois Wesleyan University at home Saturday afternoon.

Three in a row for the visitors to start the third quarter restored their five-goal cushion but the first tallies of the season for Lake Forest sophomore Jackson Derisia and junior
Carson Pagel trimmed the deficit back down to three at 9-6 going into the fourth.
The margin grew to five again on back-to-back Titan scores in the first five minutes of the final period and sophomore
Aidan Wigton ninth of the year was answered with three more Illinois Wesleyan goals to account for the final score.

Illinois Wesleyan attempted 49 shots to the Foresters' 32, won 15 of 25 faceoffs, and had a 46-36 advantage in ground balls. The Titans committed 19 turnovers while Lake Forest had 30.
The loss dropped the Foresters' record on the season to 2-3 while Illinois Wesleyan improved to 4-2.
Lake Forest will be at home against next Saturday, hosting Lawrence University in a Northern Athletics Collegeiate Conference contest at 1:00 p.m..
