Rozenbergas Finishes 23rd in 400-IM at NCAA Championships

Thursday was day two of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at Indiana University Indianapolis and Lake Forest College's Isabella Rosenbergas competed in the 400-IM.

Rozenbergas placed seventh in her heat and 23rd in the field with a time of 4:30.31 in the morning prelims. The top 16 swimmers in each event advance to the evening finals. The sophomore was in the second of four heats and was second in that heat after the butterfly portion of the race. She fell to fourth during the backstroke and seventh by the end of the breaststroke.

Thursday's race was the second of the meet for Rozenbergas, who also placed 49th in the prelims of the 200-IM on Wednesday. Her final event will be Friday's 200-butterfly, where she is ranked 12th in the field with a seed time of 2:03.13.

Rozenbergas, the two-time Midwest Conference Women's Swimmer of the Year, is the first Forester woman to compete at the national meet since 2014.
