The Lake Forest College women's hockey team dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting St. Norbert College in Saturday afternoon's series finale.

Forester freshman Lily Peterfeso matched her season high with 46 saves in the contest. She turned away 29 of the first 30 shots on goal she faced and the score was 1-0 before the visitors struck twice in the final period.

While the Green Knights had a 49-25 edge in shots, Lake Forest had a slight 30-27 advantage in faceoff wins. Neither team was able to net a power play goal with the Foresters owning four of the game's six opportunities.

It was Lake Forest's Alumni Day and the program celebrated the 25th anniversary of its first season as a varsity sport. Several former Foresters competed in an alumni scrimmage in the morning and the number of players and family members at the afternoon reception was approximately 100.

The loss left Lake Forest with an overall record of 11-12-0 and a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association mark of 9-7-0. St. Norbert, meanwhile, improved to 13-8-2 overall and 10-4-2 in the league.

Lake Forest will close out the regular season against Milwaukee School of Engineering next weekend. The Foresters will celebrate Senior Night during Friday's 7:00 p.m. contest and Saturday's game at MSOE will begin at 2:00 p.m.
