College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams on Tuesday and Forester
Alex Brown was among the honorees.
To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale at their current institution and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also must compete in at least 90 percent or start at least two-thirds of their team's contests.
Brown appeared in each of Lake Forest's 27 games in 2024-25 and made eight starts. The junior guard shot 76.7 percent from the free throw line, scored exactly 100 points, and added 64 rebounds, 28 assists and 19 steals. Brown, who in majoring in economics with an emphasis in finance, is a two-time Academic All-Midwest Conference honoree.
He is the fifth Forester to earn the honor in the last three seasons.
