Lake Forest College men's basketball player Cristian Rodriguez earned his second Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award of the season on Monday.

Rodriguez helped lead the Foresters to a 74-69 victory at Ripon College on Friday. The senior forward finished with a team-high 17 points and six assists and added eight rebounds and a pair of steals in the contest. He also shot 7-for-10 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line and committed just one turnover in 32 minutes of playing time.Lake Forest trailed by two with 3:20 remaining before back-to-back three-pointers assisted by Rodriguez gave the visitors the lead for good.

Rodriguez is the league's leading scorer with 19.8 points per game and its most efficient with a .567 field goal percentage. He is also third in the conference with 8.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per contest.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Rodriguez also earned the award on November 24.
