The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its Three Stars of the Week on Tuesday and Lake Forest College's Jasmine Kohl and Willow Poppleton were included.

Kohl scored the Foresters' first goal of the season at the 5:38 mark of the opening period in Friday night's 5-0 victory at University of Wisconsin-Superior. The junior forward struck again at 8:49 in the second and Poppleton, a senior defenseman, added to the visitors' lead with 1:07 to play in the period. All three of the goals came on the power play.

Lake Forest also blanked Superior 2-0 on Saturday and with Poppleton scoring both goals and Kohl assisting on the second.

Kohl raised her career point total to 31 on 11 goals and 20 assists while Poppleton entered the weekend having scored just once before as a Forester.
