The Lake Forest College women's hockey team prevailed 3-1 over Milwaukee School of Engineering Saturday afternoon at the University of Dubuque's Mississippi Match-Up.
Forester senior goaltender
Donna Fowler turned away 21 of the Raiders' 22 shots on goal in the contest and finished the tournament with a .920 save percentage.
Both goalies were perfect until Lake Forest sophomore forward

Emma Sweeney and sophomore forward
Victoria Liu were credited with assists on the play.
The Foresters doubled their lead 104 seconds into the second period on the team's first short-handed goal of the season. It was the second score of the year overall for junior
Macy Gehrke, who stole the puck from a MSOE defender just inside the defensive zone, skated up the right side of the ice, and fired a shot into the right side of the goal.
The score remained 2-0 until a power play goal by the Raiders cut the margin in half at the 12:44 mark of the third.
The Foresters' two-goal cushion was restored with four minutes to play. Senior defenseman
Abby Meyer's shot was saved but Liu followed it up and crossed the puck in front of the goal. Sophomore forward
Ella Maher was there to send it in for her third goal of the weekend and team-high sixth of the season.
Lake Forest out-shot MSOEÂ 41-22 and improved to 3-5-2 on the season. The Raiders fell to 2-7-1.
The Foresters will not play in December and will resume their season January 3-4 at Northland College.
