The Lake Forest College women's hockey team won 6-1 at Augsburg
College Saturday afternoon (November 14). The Foresters remained
unbeaten with a 4-0-1 record on the year while the Auggies fell to
0-3-0.
Lake Forest sophomore Mira Trebilcock (South Porcupine,

by the visitors on the day. Her first score of the season was
assisted by junior Melissa Kravich (Wilmette, Ill./Gustavus
Adolphus College) and sophomore Kim Herring (Dover, N.H./Groton
School). Kravich then netted her first goal of the year and what
turned out to be the official game-winner at 15:11 with freshman
Rosy Fujimoto (Wasilla, Alaska/Team Alaska) earning an assist. The
Foresters out-shot the home team 19-4 in the period and led 2-0 at
the first intermission.
The shots were 13 to 10 in favor of Lake Forest and each team
scored once in period two. Augsburg got on the scoreboard at 8:28
to trim the Forester advantage to 2-1. Junior Lynn Switaj (Avon
Lake, Ohio/Ohio Flames) scored the period's other score, her first

Trebilcock also began the third period scoring with her second goal
of the afternoon and season just 57 seconds into the frame. It came
on the power play and was assisted by Kravich and senior Courtney Bean (Peoria, Ill./Team Illinois). Switaj added a short-handed goal
at 4:43 and assisted on junior Sam Herron's (Clinton Township,
Mich./Victory Honda) second score of the season at 6:36. That power
play goal closed out the scoring as the Foresters out-shot the home
team 26-2 in the period.
Lake Forest junior goaltender Brittany Lemke (St. Charles, Ill./St.
Mary's University) recorded 15 saves in her season debut.
