Jeff Siegal joined the Forester staff as an assistant cheer coach in 2026.
Siegal is also the co-owner, founder, and director of operations of Camp Jeff, which conducts cheer and dance camps for programs throughout the area.
An extremely experienced and accomplished cheer coach in Illinois, Siegal led the programs at Elk Grove and Buffalo Grove High Schools to a combined nine state titles and added four additional top-three finishes. He was selected as the Illinois High School Association Coach of the Year twice and was also named National High School Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High Schools in 2017 and the National High School Athletics Coaches Association in 2025.
Siegal's experience includes several years at the collegiate level as the head coach for the programs at Northwestern University (2001-04) and Roosevelt University (2011-.
Siegal spent more than three decades in the special education department at Buffalo Grove and received several awards during that span.
He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and nearby Deerfield High School.
