Christine Gutierrez joins the Forester coaching staff in 2010-11and will work with the team’s post players.

Gutierrez has spent the last two seasons as an assistant coachat Pius XI High School, her alma mater, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.She helped lead last year’s team to a 26-3 record and a statechampionship in her second season on staff. She also coached atShorewood High School the previous two years.

Gutierrez played collegiately for one season atNCAA Division I University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, helpinglead the Panthers to a 20-8 record and second-place finish in theHorizon League. She eventually earned a bachelor’s degreefrom the institution in 2009. While playing at Pius XI, Gutierrezwas named Classic Eight Conference Co-Player of the Year, thearea’s Player of the Year, Associated Press and MilwaukeeJournal-Sentinel All-State, and All-American. She was also anall-state soccer player.

She is currently a service operations manager forRoundy’s, Inc.
