Steve Little

The 2013 season will be the fifth for Steve Little as theForesters' outside linebackers coach. He has served as a coachand/or strength and conditioning coordinator at various levels formore than two decades.

Under his directon over the last four seasons, Forester startingoutside linebackers have combined for over 400 tackles as well as42.5 tackles for loss, 20 sacks, six forced fumbles, eightfumble recoveries, three interceptions, and a pair of returntouchdowns. They have also garnered three All-Midwest Conferencehonors, including a Second Team selection for John Dillon after theteam's MWC championship run in 2012.

Little was the assistant head coach at Trinity InternationalUniversity in nearby Deerfield, Illinois, from 2004-08 and alsoserved as defensive line coach (2004-05) and defensive coordinator(2005-08) during that time. He also spent time coaching for theChicago Bears (1998-2003), Temple University (1990), PurdueUniversity (1988-89), and Iowa State University (1986) and hadinternships with the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers.

In addition to coaching, Little has worked in the strength andconditioning field for the Chicago Bears, Northern IllinoisUniversity, San Francisco 49ers, Purdue University, and TempleUniversity.

Little played collegiately at Iowa State University, where hewas a team captain and Second Team All-Big 8 selection.
