National Girls and Women in Sports Day at Lake Forest College

Lake Forest College Athletics is proud to host National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) in collaboration with the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) on Saturday, February 14, 2026. This annual event celebrates the achievements of girls and women in sports and highlights the ongoing journey toward equality in athletics.  

Event Highlights 

• Empowerment and Inspiration - The day aims to inspire female athletes and encourage all girls and women to be more active. 
• Engaging Activities - Participants will enjoy: 
  • Q&A Sessions - Insights from current Forester female student-athletes and women administrators. 
  • Adaptive Sports Activities - An all-sports session featuring adaptive sports. 
• Free Admission: Access to any Forester Athletics sporting event happening that day.
