Saturday, January 31, will be an exciting day in The Forest with the dedication of the Slaats Skybox and Alumni Days for the College's men's and women's basketball, men's hockey, and men's and women's swimming and diving teams. Former Forester Head Women's Basketball and Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics/Vice President for Athletics Jackie Slaats will be honored as the venue overlooking over the varsity gym in the Sports and Recreation Center is officially named in her honor. Festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and on-court dedication.

On the docket for Alumni Day is an open swim, scrimmages for men's basketball and men's hockey, a celebration of the career of current Head Women's Basketball Coach Tamlyn Tills, and social gatherings for alumni from all the sports. Of note, the men's hockey team will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of its first season.

A complete schedule for the day is below. All events will take place in the Lake Forest College Sports and Recreation Center, with the exception of the men's hockey alumni scrimmage and varsity game next door in Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.
