The Lake Forest College men's and women's swimming and diving teams each placed third at the Illinois-Michigan Quadrangular at Kalamazoo College on Saturday.
Hope College finished first in both team standings by a relatively wide margin. The Wheaton College women were second with 376 points, just three more than the Foresters, and Kalamazoo was fourth with 347. The order was the same on the men's side with Wheaton tallying 457, Lake Forest 374, and Kalamazoo 335.
Junior
Audrey Kilmer turned in the Foresters' only victory of the meet in the women's 500-freestyle. She finished nearly four seconds before the runner-up with a time of 5:23.79. Kilmer was also second in the 100-freestyle in 54.70 seconds.
Sophomore
Isabella Rozenbergas also had a pair of top-three performances at the meet, finishing third in the 200-IM with a time of 2:11.61 and second in the 200-butterfly in 2:17.82.
On the men's side runner-up finishes were posted in the first and last individual events of the meet. Sophomore
Matthew Strada's 10:15.22 in the 1000-freestyle was good for second place, as was senior
Andrew Lee's 2:15.79 in the 200-breaststroke.
Additional third-place finishes for the Foresters came from sophomore
Joss Hoffman in the 50-freestyle, which she finished in just 26.08 seconds, and junior
Gavin Biccum in the men's 500-freestyle with a time of 5:02.66.
It was Lake Forest's first event of 2026 and began a stretch of four consecutive Saturdays with a meet. Next is a double-dual with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and host Lawrence University, which will begin at 1:00 p.m.
