52 Forester Lacrosse Players Earn NACC Scholar-Athlete Honors

7/29/2025 2:00:00 PM

The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced the NACC Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 academic year on Tuesday.

Student-athletes competing in the conference must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the academic year to be eligible for the honor. Each academic year stands by itself for the determination of this award.

With 37 players on the list, more than two-thirds of the roster, the Forester men lacrosse team had more student-athletes honored than any other school in that sport. More than two-thirds of the women's team was also honored and Lake Forest ranked third in the conference with 15 honorees (out of 22 players on the roster) in that sport.

After competing in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference and Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference during the last three years, Lake Forest joined the NACC for the 2025 season. Among the Foresters' 52 honorees on Tuesday are eight seniors who earned conference academic awards for the fourth consecutive year. They are John Casey, Jenna Doctor, Caden Elias, Savannah Frauhiger, Max Guyott, Calliope Saban, Connor Tartaglione, and Andrew Widlar.
