The Lake Forest College swimming and diving team traveled just north of the state line on Saturday and split a double dual at Carthage College.
The Forester women defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering 225-34 but fell 161-132 to Carthage. Similarly, Lake Forest's men posted a 155-133 victory over MSOE but were defeated 183-105 by the home team.

Isabella Rozenbergas the butterfly, and sophomore
Audrey Kilmer freestyle, Lake Forest's time of 1:51.89 was just .28 seconds ahead of Carthage's runner-up foursome.
Andres was back in the pool for the first individual event and her 1000-freestyle time of 11:12.69 was good for a five-second victory. Freshman
Matthew Strada made it a Forester sweep at that distance, taking the men's race in 10:21.06, edging out sophomore
Gavin Biccum by less than a tenth of a second.
Lake Forest's next victory came in the men's 100-backstroke, where senior
Noah McAdam's 52.98 was nearly two seconds faster than the second-place finisher's time.
Andres followed with her second individual win and the narrowest margin of victory at the meet in the 100-breaststroke. Her clocking of 1:11.46 was just .04 seconds better than the runner-up from Carthage.
The 100-breaststroke victory was the first of three straight for the Lake Forest women. Senior
Michelle Paddon-Jones was next, finishing the 200-butterfly in 2:20.61 and Rozenbergas turned in the first of her three individual titles with a 24.41 in the 50-freestyle.
McAdam finished off his sweep of the men's backstroke events with a 1:58.02 in the 200 and Rozenbergas turned in individual win number two with a 2:30.03 in the 200-breaststroke.
Biccum finished first in the men's 500-freestyle in 4:59.23 and Rozenbergas triumphed again in the 100-butterfly in 57.29 seconds.
The Foresters' final two victories came in the 200-IM, where Kilmer took the women's race in 2:18.10 and Strada the men's in 1:59.64.
Next Saturday both Lake Forest teams will take their 1-1 dual meet records to Lewis University, where they will take on the hosts and Illinois Institute of Technology in another double dual meet at noon.
