Foresters Earn Scholar All-America Status Again

The Lake Forest College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were among the 777 squads around the country designated as Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the spring semester. The teams represent 480 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions with Lake Forest among the 297 schools to have both their men's and women's teams earn the status.

The Forester women combined for a 3.54 GPA in the spring and earned the award for the 15th time in the last 16 semesters.

Lake Forest's men's team compiled a 3.19 GPA during the second semester to claim Scholar All-America status for the seventh semester in a row.

Both teams are coached by Vadim Tashlitsky '00.
