Lake Forest College men's soccer player Seton Trostle was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday after helping lead his team to a pair of comeback victories over the weekend.
Trostle, a senior midfielder, scored late in the first half and early in the second to erase a 2-0 deficit at Cornell College on Saturday. The Foresters went on to win their MWC opener 3-2.
Lake Forest trailed 3-0 before posting a 5-4 double-overtime victory at Grinnell College on Sunday. Trostle's goal late in the first half made the score 3-2.
Trostle leads the 2017 Foresters with five goals and 10 points. He now has 16 goals and 37 points in 60 career games.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's director of media and information. Trostle also earned the award once last season.
