    The Lake Forest College Athletic Department is excited to host the second annual Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge. “This day provides such a great opportunity for all of the former players to come back to campus and not only play in a game together, but also share their life experiences with our current student-athletes,” explains Athletic Director Jackie Slaats, "We are excited to continue building on last year's success and establish a lasting tradition."

    The Lake Forest College Athletic Department held its annual Winter Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 25, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. Among the many awards given out were plaques for each sport's Most Valuable and Most Improved Performers. Senior Maria Dugas and junior Isaac Acosta were voted the Forester handball team's Most Valuable Players while freshman Brooke Perkins and junior Justin Novak were the national champions' Most Improved Players.

    The Lake Forest College handball teams swept all three national titles by edging out runner-up and host Missouri State University in the men's, women's, and combined team standings at the USHA Collegiate National Championships over the weekend. Forester senior Maria Dugas was the runner-up in both singles and doubles.

    The Lake Forest College handball team traveled to Indianapolis for the Circle City Tournament over the weekend. It was a homecoming for sophomore Samantha Zender, who hails from Fishers, Indiana. She teamed with senior Maria Dugas to win the Women's Doubles title.

    The Forester men's handball team competed at the Illinois Handball Association Singles Tournament in Des Plaines over the weekend. Junior Isaac Acosta was Lake Forest's top finisher after claiming the A Division title.

    The Forester handball team hosted and competed in the 2011 Illinois Handball Association Contenders Tournament over the weekend. Lake Forest senior Riley Kloss was the event's runner-up.
