Albert Greene is in his sixth season on the Forester coaching staff. The 2019 season will be his second directing the team’s entire defensive backfield after working with just the safeties the previous four years.
Forester defensive backs combined for more than 250 tackles and eight interceptions in 2018. Cade Brittain was a First Team All-Midwest Conference South Division selection and Anthony Rieck was named MWC South Newcomer of the Year. Rieck is one of five safeties who have combined to rank among the squad’s top five in tackles eight times during Greene’s five seasons on staff.
Greene is a 2006 graduate of Monmouth College, where he was a starter as a sophomore on the football team. He was also an All-American in the triple jump and Midwest Conference champion in the long jump and triple jump for the Fighting Scots’ track and field team.
Since graduating from Monmouth with a degree in communication, Greene has served as an assistant track and field coach and head jumps coach at both the high school and collegiate levels.
Greene is also a payroll administrator for American Hotel Register Company. He lives in Schaumburg with his wife Tiffany and children McKiah and Blaze.
