The Midwest Conference announced its All-MWC Women's Soccer Teams and major award winners on Friday and conference champion Lake Forest College was well-represented on the list.

For the third straight season, a Forester was recognized as the MWC Offensive Player of the Year. Senior midfielder Izzy DeStefano has either scored or assisted on at least one goal in 17 of the Foresters' 20 games so far this season. Her 15 assists lead the nation and she ranks second in the league with 41 points and third with 13 goals. DeStefano was also the MWC Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 and this year's First Team All-MWC distinction is her third in a row.

Lake Forest also extended its streak of MWC Newcomer of the Year awards to four years with the selection of midfielder Maddie Vasquez. Vasquez finished her freshman season with 22 points on eight goals and six assists. She also scored the only goal of her team's 1-0 victory over Grinnell College in the semifinals of the MWC Tournament last Friday.

In addition to having the MWC Offensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, Lake Forest also boasted the MWC Coaching Staff of the Year. The group is led by five-time MWC Coach of the Year T.R. Bell '96 and he is assisted by Rob Samuels '96, Cassidy Price, Hiwa Brown '22, and goalkeeper coach Mary Tudor. This season they've led the Foresters to a perfect 20-0-0 overall record, victories in each of their eight conference games, an MWC Tournament title, and a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament, which will begin with two rounds on Lake Forest's Mohr Field this weekend.

Joining DeStefano and Vasquez as First Team All-MWC selections are senior midfielder Anna Hoffman and forward Anna Gracia. Hoffman leads the league and ranks among the top 10 in the nation with 20 goals and 49 points. She has scored in all but four games and has at least one point in all but two. Gracia has 16 goals and 34 points so far this fall and ranks tied-for-fifth in the country in game-winning goals with seven, including four during the Foresters' eight-game conference schedule. Hoffman and Gracia are now four-time First Team All-MWC honorees and their list of league honors includes Gracia's MWC Newcomer of the Year award in 2022 and Hoffman's MWC Offensive Player of the Year recognition in 2024.

Senior midfielder Caitlin Mulcahy and freshman defender Veronica Presberg were named Second Team All-MWC on Friday. They've combined for three goals and three assists this season but do most of their work at the defensive end of the field. Lake Forest opponents have scored just 11 goals on the year and just six of them occurred with both Mulcahy and Presberg on the field. Mulcahy is now a four-time all-conference honoree and was the MWC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. With Friday's selections of Vasquez and Presberg, eight Forester freshman have been listed among the league's best in the last seven full seasons.

Lake Forest captured the team's third consecutive MWC title and ninth in program history. The Foresters are making their fifth appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and will host Spalding University in the opening round Friday at 11:00 a.m.
