T.R. Bell has been involved with Lake Forest College since enrolling as a freshman in 1992.
After a four-year soccer and hockey playing career that eventually landed him in the Forester Athletics Hall of Fame, Bell spent one year working in the College's Admissions Office. He was named head women's soccer coach prior to the 1997 season, continues to direct that team, and is easily the program's career leader in victories.
Bell also served as an assistant coach in men's hockey and men's tennis and was the first head varsity women's hockey coach in school history in 2000-01.
He was named Camps and Conferences Director in 2005.
Bell, his wife Julie, and their children Luke and Olivia reside in nearby Lake Bluff.
