Freshman Julie Lord defeated the #8 seed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championships and all five of Lake Forest's players won at least once in that event or the Oberlin Open over the weekend.

Lord won the first set 6-3 and the second 6-0 over the top player from Kalamazoo College, the #8 seed in the tournament. She was then defeated 6-4, 6-1 in the round of 32.

Both of the Foresters' doubles teams at the event fell in their opening round match but won at least once in the consolation bracket. Junior Allison Watts and freshman Tyranny Miller doubled up their opponents 8-4 before falling in the round of 16.

Three Lake Forest players combined to win four of six singles matches at the Oberlin Open. Bodnar prevailed 6-2 in both sets on Friday before posting a 6-4, 6-1 victory on Saturday.
