    Sophomore first baseman Riley Frisbie went 5-for-8 at the plate on the day but the Lake Forest College softball team was defeated 7-2 by Amherst College and 7-1 by Hope College on Saturday.

    Senior shortstop Kat Beall tied a program record with five base hits, including the 100th of her career, the Lake Forest College softball team's 18-4 5-inning victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Friday. The Foresters fell 6-1 to Millikin University later in the day.

    Freshman pitchers Shaye Gauthier and Maddie Webb did not allow an earned run in a combined 11 innings of work as the Lake Forest College softball team defeated Keene State College 8-0 in six innings and Hamilton College 9-1 in five on Thursday.

    Sophomore designated player Riley Frisbie belted the Lake Forest College softball team's first home run of the season in a 15-0 victory over Delaware Valley University Tuesday morning. The Foresters also defeated St. Mary's College 3-1 and are now 3-1 during their Spring Break trip to Florida.

    Sophomore pitcher Missy Dieckman-Meyer tossed her second shutout of the young season on Monday as the Lake Forest College softball team began its Spring Break trip with a 2-0 victory over University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth on Monday. The Foresters then fell 7-5 to Concordia University Wisconsin.
  • Foresters Defeat Nation's Eighth-Ranked Team, Finish Weekend 3-1

    Senior leftfielder Sydney Gardner scored two runs and drove in three on the day as the Lake Forest College softball team posted a 3-1 victory over Luther College, the eighth-ranked team in the country, and a 7-0 shutout of the University of Dubuque on Sunday at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.
  • Lake Forest Begins 2018 with a Split Indoors

    Sophomore pitcher Missy Dieckman-Meyer tossed a six-hit shutout in the season opener as the Forester softball team split a pair of games in the Rochester Regional Stadium and Bubble on Saturday. Lake Forest blanked St. Olaf College 1-0 before falling 10-1 in six innings to Buena Vista University.
