He recorded five birdies on the day and finished one shot ahead of the runner-up in the 80-player field. Lake Forest was second out of 13 teams, just one stroke out of first.

The Foresters placed 10th out of a dozen teams at the Carthage College Spring Invitational on Tuesday. Krugman was second on the team and tied-for-25th out of 69 players with a score of 79. The event was held at Kenosha Country Club in Somers, Wisconsin, and was played on a 6,530-yard, par-70 course.

Krugman, who was also named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday, leads Lake Forest with an 18-hole scoring average of 76.08.
