    Lake Forest College's George Vidas was included as the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced Wednesday the members of the 2016 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.

    Two Forester teams captured Midwest Conference championships and another advanced to the NCAA Tournament in the fall of 2015. Lake Forest's eight fall sports combined for a .606 overall winning percentage and a .744 mark in league play. Individual Foresters earned 29 all-conference honors and set or tied 24 program records.

    It was a happy homecoming for the Lake Forest College football team after their 34-3 victory over Knox College on Saturday. Senior quarterback Sean Dickson rushed for the Foresters' first touchdown of the day and threw for two more scores later in the contest.

  • Running Game Leads Foresters to Victory Over Beloit

    The Lake Forest College football team defeated visiting Beloit College 42-34 on Saturday, thanks in large part to junior tailbacks Charlie Quinn and Joey Valdivia, who combined for 273 yards and five touchdowns. They are the first pair of Foresters to rush for 100 yards in the same game in nearly 15 years.

Campbell Trophy, presented by Fidelity Investments® and prominently displayed inside its official home at the New York Athletic Club, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation.
