The Forester Athletic Network (F.A.N. Club) hosted its annual Contributor’s Club event at the Chicago Bulls game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Seventeen members gathered in a luxury box and Forester alumni, parents, and friends were able to reunite, reminisce, and catch some basketball.
Lake Forest hosted a similar event at a Chicago Blackhawks game last year and at a Chicago White Sox game the year before.
"It was a great event and very hard to follow up last year’s at the Blackhawks game," said Jackie Slaats. "I’m extremely pleased with the number of people who attended and hope our numbers can increase each year. Revenue generated by the F.A.N. Club is essential to our department and this is a nice way to reward some of those in the Club's highest level for their generosity."
Members in attendance were selected based upon their Contributor Club F.A.N. Club membership level and sport affiliation. Ex-Chicago Bull Bob Love made a stop at the luxury box during the game.
Despite the Bulls falling 107-78, a good time was had by all.
The location of next year's event has yet to be determined.
