The Lake Forest men's hockey team will travel to downtown Chicago to play in a non-conference game against Aurora University this Saturday at 5:00 p.m. The match-up will take place at Johnny's Icehouse West, the training facility of the Chicago Blackhawks. The Foresters have won five of their six meetings with the Spartans, including the last three.
In an effort to encourage attendance, the Center for Chicago Programs will reimburse Metra travel for the first 25 students who sign-up at the center between now and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17. Space is first come/first served and in order to receive reimbursement, students must bring their Metra Weekend Pass/receipt back to the Center for Chicago Programs on or before Friday, December 1. Reimbursement for mileage, taxis, and/or parking will not be permitted.
Additionally, the Athletic Department invites all Forester fans and F.A.N. Club members to a pre-game social beginning at 3:30 p.m. in The Stanley Club at Johnny’s. We hope to see you at the event and we look forward to having you cheer on the men’s team to victory!
